Ceylon Tourmaline Colours
Our collection features vivid pink tourmaline (rubellite family), rich green tourmaline (verdelite family), and rare brown-champagne tourmaline in pear cut, a colour rarely seen in commercial markets. Ceylon tourmalines are typically untreated, with natural colour developed through trace elements during formation. Each stone is certified and untreated unless explicitly disclosed.
Size & Price Guide
Our tourmalines range from 1.02ct to 5.28ct, priced from $400 AUD for entry pieces to over $3,000 AUD for the larger pink specimens. Tourmaline scores 7-7.5 on the Mohs hardness scale, suitable for pendants, earrings, and occasional-wear rings. Pink tourmaline is particularly sought after as an affordable alternative to pink sapphire or ruby.

Is Ceylon tourmaline heated?
Most Ceylon tourmaline, including the pink and green stones in this collection, is naturally untreated. Heat treatment is uncommon for these colour varieties. Any treatment is disclosed on the certificate.
What is the difference between pink tourmaline and pink sapphire?
Both are natural pink gemstones, but tourmaline is softer (Mohs 7-7.5) and typically more affordable, while sapphire (Mohs 9) is harder and more suited to daily-wear rings. Tourmaline also displays a wider range of pink tones.
